Looking at how 2024 wrapped up, it surprised a lot of us Bitcoin fans. Bitcoin hit its all-time high late last year. Remember 2017? It started around $1,000 and shot up to about $20,000 by year-end. That’s a wild increase, like 200%. Can we expect something similar this year with all the new factors making Bitcoin more popular?
Can We Expect a Repeat of the 2017 Bull Run in 2025?

Maybe, but I doubt we’ll see a 20x return this time. Bitcoin’s bigger now and slower to move. Unless we get some supercycle or some big events to back it up, it’s gonna be hard.

2017 wasn't the last big run; 2021 was. If we had two runs back to back, why skip 2025? I reckon we could see Bitcoin hit around $150k to $170k. Could be wrong, but I'm feeling bullish for 2025.
True, it’s gonna be a fun ride, and that’s what counts. People will be looking back at today’s prices and wishing they bought in. Don’t sleep on this chance.
In 2017, we saw Bitcoin’s price skyrocket 200%. It kicked off around $1,000 and ended at about $20,000. The last year's gains? They don’t even compare. But what if we see a bull run like 2017? We’d need prices over $200,000.
Things have changed since then. Each cycle seems to bring less volatility as Bitcoin grows. It’s just the nature of the beast.
It might happen, but we can’t predict the next bull run. Some say it could start mid-year. Just gotta wait and see. Timing is everything.

Market’s unpredictable, anything could happen. We’ve still got time left in this year. More countries are adopting Bitcoin, and with a Bitcoin-friendly administration, we might see a positive shift. My guess for Bitcoin this year? Between $150k and $250k.

I’m hopeful for a bullish trend in 2025. Nobody really knows how high it can go. There are events lined up that might push prices beyond the current ATH. Looking at $150k isn’t too crazy, but it might take a bit longer. If you’re considering buying, these dips might be your best shot.

If you're asking if Bitcoin can give us x20 returns like in 2017, I doubt it. As it matures, its cap grows and volatility shrinks. We won’t see those wild price jumps like before. It's easier to go from $1 billion to $10 billion than from $1 trillion to $10 trillion.

Definitely, we could see another bull run like in 2017. The end of 2024 was solid, and even with some volatility in early 2025, we haven’t dropped much. Bitcoin’s at $97,000 now, so fingers crossed for a rise.
A 200% gain just means $2k. So are we saying $50k turns into $1 million? Only if a ton of gold investors switch to Bitcoin. I see this year as bullish, but reaching a million in such a short time? Nah.
Yeah, I think we could go up at least 12 to 15 times. Maybe $1.5 million a coin, who knows?
We should expect a significant price rise this year, but not necessarily the same pattern as 2017. 2021 didn’t replicate 2017, so why would this year? Predictions for Bitcoin? Around $150k to $180k, but it’s all speculation.
There’s a good chance Bitcoin could soar based on past patterns. 2025 will likely be different; we can’t just look for huge percentage increases anymore. We need to be careful with price targets and timing.

These gains are definitely possible. We can't predict exactly how high it’ll go, but historically Bitcoin’s patterns change. We might see smaller multipliers, but even then, it’s a gain from past ATHs.
I see your point, but I disagree. Bitcoin can absolutely replicate the 2017 bull run, maybe not this year or next, but it will happen. the space is more Bitcoin-friendly now than it was back then.
When you go from $100 to $1,000, it’s still a 10x gain. But as market cap grows, it gets harder. Going from $10k to $100k needs multiple bull runs. Imagine hitting $1 million; that’s a huge jump.
So you’re suggesting we might hit $200,000 this year? That’s not too far off from some predictions. With all the whale activity, we could see those crazy gains like in 2017.
2025 could be the new era for finance. The emotional aspects are all over the place, so throwing around six-figure predictions might be a bit much.
