Whoa Bitcoin just hit over $65,000 in a matter of hours. This happened right after that attack on Trump. Is it possible his support for crypto had something to do with this? Curious to see what others think.
Bitcoin Price Surge: What's Behind It?

Breaking the $65,000 mark seems like a big deal but let's be real, it’s not a record for Bitcoin. It’s just been a while since we saw such a high price. I’ve been monitoring the charts, and the uptick started before the Trump incident, so I don't think there's a direct link.
LOL love how BTC does the exact opposite of what everyone expects. Remember that sell-off in Germany? Total shocker and now everyone’s saying a crash is coming because of MtGox. Instead here we are with a price spike!
People are giving too much credit to the Trump drama. Honestly, the price didn’t just leap because of that. It took time after the attack for Bitcoin to bounce back. It’s more of a correction from earlier sell-offs, if you ask me.

Could be a bit of both, but let’s not overthink it. Sure, the attack might’ve triggered something but Bitcoin always moves like this. Classic reaction from the market and big players looking to capitalize on short-term shifts.
I think it’s a mix of things here, for sure. FOMO kicked in after the LKA Saxony sell-off ended. Many expected Bitcoin would dive further but instead, ETF holders swooped in to buy the dip. It’s all about those market conditions.

Totally agree, technicals are often more reliable than news. The price rose out of a low point anyway. We were overdue for a bounce after that dip, and with some negative pressure lifting, it had to happen.
This whole situation is fascinating. If you’re good at analyzing the market during corrections, there’s profit to be made. The German government sold off Bitcoin and now it’s climbing again. But hey, it's always about supply and demand.

Reminds me how KOLs were all crying about Bitcoin being dead. Look who's bullish now! These guys just chase the hype for clicks. Those who believed them really got burned.

Media keeps linking Bitcoin’s rise to the Trump assassination attempt, but it’s just coincidence, tbh. If it were directly related, we would’ve seen movements earlier. I think it’ll drop under $60,000 soon.
Could be one reason, but really who knows? The market is massive and driven by so many factors. Plus, the Mt. Gox situation is still lurking, so that adds to nerves and possible sell-offs.
Yeah, the surge feels like FOMO, with all this drama around Trump. Everyone’s hopping on board thinking they’ll cash in. It’s all speculation.
Bitcoin’s been riding high but it might not be sustainable. We're still pretty far from hitting new highs. And don’t forget, everything that happens in the US has a ripple effect worldwide.
People really jump at every little thing. Just because the German government sold some BTC doesn’t mean it’s connected to Trump. The price was due for a rise.

True, there’s always some connection made, but let’s focus on the actual market trends instead of diverting to celebrity dramas. It’s all tech signals.
I was on it since that $62,120 mark was hit and it was clear it would push higher. Questions about whether Trump’s situation had any real impact are wild. If anything, it’s been more technical than anything else.
It’s nuts how sudden this price spike is. Should we buy now with hopes of profits by summer? Or should we wait and see what happens?

Honestly, I think the Trump attack isn't driving prices up. It's more of a market trend that started before and continues to push forward. Yes, he’s pro-Bitcoin, but the effect on pricing? Still debatable.
Absolutely, couldn’t agree more! Many just grasp at straws trying to find reasons for price movements. It’s all speculation.

Some people think Trump’s support could significantly boost Bitcoin. His VP supposedly holds a decent amount too. If he does win, we might see some interesting changes.
