Looking at the monthly candles for Bitcoin, it's pretty clear there's potential for speculation, right? I mean, it's hanging around the lower end of the middle band. And with those 4-hour and weekly candles showing some upward movement, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a short-term price bump.
2026 is just getting started and honestly, I’m feeling pretty neutral about the price. I’m not that into short-term trading anymore. But yeah, if there’s a hint of a rise, some might jump in to invest, especially if they've got extra cash on hand. Sticking to DCA seems like the smart play right now.
I’m thinking we might see a quick bounce to around 100k in Q1 or Q2, but then a drop to maybe 70k in Q3. Just a hunch based on the weekly candles. If we go bearish, I think 70k could be the low and then a long consolidation could follow.
Not sure I agree with the dead cat bounce theory. It’s tough to make predictions right now. Sentiments can really push prices in unexpected ways. I’m not fixating on any specific number, just waiting to see how it goes. People seem to think December will be good for prices.
I see a temporary spike too, and I could see Bitcoin hitting over 100k early in the year. But after that, the bear market could hit hard, maybe until year-end. I think this bear market could be rougher than previous ones, especially if the global economy gets shaky. Expecting that bottom to hit around 45k-50k later this year.
Yeah, I think the price will drop this year, but I’m not totally convinced the 4-year cycle is done for good. I doubt Bitcoin will go super bearish, though. If it does, I guess it should start soon. I’m skeptical about reaching ATH this year but let’s see.
If 70k is the bottom, that's not terrible news for holders. Next cycle could see even higher highs. We're not facing massive issues like before, no big collapses or serious depeg situations. Adoption is still growing. I think the dip won’t be too severe, so I’ll stick with 70k as a support level.
Good point, but if Bitcoin drops below 70k, like 60k, that could also be okay in the long run. Prices will bounce back, but what if we get bad news again? Last year’s dips were triggered by some nasty surprises.
The market's matured, but don’t forget about macro risks. Geopolitical tensions, inflation, or even the AI bubble bursting could really shake things up. If that happens, this year’s bear market could be brutal.
Investors have control here. I think Bitcoin could hit 100k this January, especially after the peak of 126k in 2025. So, I see the DCA method as essential keep buying those dips for future gains.
Why open two threads with the same topic? Just curious. Personally, I don't expect anything exciting this January, just more sideways action around 80-90k. If it goes above 90k, it won't last long. Feeling bearish this month.
Let’s be optimistic. New year, new trends it looks promising! If Bitcoin breaks past the 50-day moving average with strong volume, we could see bullish action ahead.
I’m seeing signs of a more bullish month than last. If we can hold the 90k support, we could actually hit 100k. Just gotta watch those market patterns.
Today's Bitcoin performance is making me rethink my expectations. If this week stays green, we may not drop below where we ended 2025. Holding at 90k is a good sign.
I can't really analyze charts well, but I think Bitcoin has short-term growth potential. Sure, we may see a dip later, but those dips will be great chances for investment ahead of 2027.
Isn't that the point of speculation? The OP looks at the candles, but who knows what tomorrow will bring? I see the market either dropping or staying flat. If there's a breakout, it might not be as great as we hope.
As long as Bitcoin is below 100k, it's a solid time to accumulate. The market looks decent today, broke 90k. I think the first quarter could bounce back towards 100k.
Happy to see Bitcoin at 90k, but I doubt it’ll hit 100k this January. If we keep getting positive news, we might see it climb. Just gotta be ready for potential dips.
People seem to be getting used to the macro instability. The last time there was bad news, the market barely budged. I think we might be more resilient than expected.
