So, I’m curious why everyone thinks the wild bull and bear cycles are behind us. Is it really just the Bitcoin ETF hype?

It’s definitely related to that ETF stuff. Just watched a BTC analyst say we might not see those crazy bear markets anymore. But I’m skeptical.

I think it’s more complicated than that. Sure, there are global factors affecting things, but saying parabolic bull markets are done seems off. Looking at the charts, they still seem pretty normal overall.

Exactly! I don’t trust all these analysts either, but I do agree that future cycles won’t be identical to the past. We’ll still see bear markets, but they might be less intense.

Bear markets can’t just vanish. I mean, who knows what could happen? Even if institutions are involved now, Bitcoin still has its principles. A crazy bear market could hit us when we least expect it.

Yeah, I think we’re due for a bearish cycle soon. But I agree that volatility could lessen over time as Bitcoin supply dwindles.

I see it this way: price drops will always be a thing. But with more institutional money in Bitcoin now, it might cushion against major crashes.

If you think about it, Bitcoin could still drop 50% or more. And yeah, panic selling happens, especially with older investors.

I’m with you on that. I don’t think we’ll see bear markets lasting for years, but a few months seems more realistic.

True, the declines might only be around 30-35%. It’s hard to imagine Bitcoin tanking like it used to with all this institutional buying.

Right? Everyone’s holding on longer now, which is changing the game. The volatility is definitely being reduced.

Yeah, and it’s clear that the market is evolving. But I still think we have a way to go before we find a solid bottom.

This is all speculation, but I really believe we haven’t even hit the peak of this bull run yet. We’re only scratching the surface!

Lol, I hope you’re right! But I feel like we might not see those massive drops again like in 2018.

I can’t help but think we’re still in for some surprises. The market reacts so much to global events.

Exactly, and volatility will always be part of the game. Look at how we’ve reacted to stuff like the pandemic.

I’m not convinced it’s different this time, though. I see a bubble forming, and if things go south, we might crash hard.

Could be. I mean, if we hit $200K soon, what happens next? Could we see a drop to $80K in a couple of years?

Yeah, it’s a wild ride! I’m all for being optimistic, but we can’t ignore the risks.

+1 to that! Bitcoin is unpredictable, and we should be ready for anything.
