Not really a prediction but more of a discussion. Those who've been in crypto from the start know the mantra: Never sell unless it’s total chaos. Bitcoin has consistently smashed its all-time highs for 17 years now. Do you think the number of Bitcoin maximalists is growing? Are the believers now overshadowing the doubters?

Interesting point here. I feel like the balance is shifting, but super slow. I checked some recent polls, and they still show more naysayers than believers, even looking toward 2024/2025. Just saw this Gallup poll too. Outside crypto circles, folks are still pretty negative, thinking Bitcoin is just a bubble. But on the plus side, I’ve noticed more enthusiasts, especially since the late 2010s.

I think what happened in 2025 might indicate an uptick in Bitcoin maxis. The demand skyrocketed that year, with many ditching their altcoins. That’s why we haven’t really seen an altcoin season people are focusing hard on Bitcoin. No solid numbers to back this up, but the vibe here is that more folks see Bitcoin as the ultimate investment.

Don’t have stats to prove this, but just based on what I see, naysayers still outnumber maxis. Most Bitcoin talks happen within crypto communities, where opinions are generally positive. Outside that bubble, there's a lot more skepticism. But I gotta say, we’re seeing some progress, even if it’s minor some former naysayers are starting to come around.

Right? Looks like there might be more maxis these days. The altcoin scene isn’t doing as well this bull run. Might indicate that more people are just holding onto Bitcoin and steering clear of alts. As for the naysayers, they'll be left behind when Bitcoin hits crazy highs. Their pride is gonna be the downfall when they keep bashing Bitcoin.

I think more peeps are hodling Bitcoin now. It’s seen more as a store of value than just a payment method. Fees are still higher and it’s slower compared to others. But Bitcoin’s definitely established itself as digital gold this gives people more confidence to hold, even during downturns.

Believer numbers are bound to go up the whole asset class is still fresh, and institutions are starting to pay attention. More former naysayers are turning pro-crypto, especially when Bitcoin makes headlines.

There’s chatter about whether the Bitcoin cycle is still alive or not. If the four-year cycle is over, maybe it’s due to more maxis actually holding. Those who do are contributing to Bitcoin, unlike naysayers who just talk and don’t directly impact the network.

Naysayers might be dwindling, especially after Bitcoin smashed through 125k. It seems silly to continue doubting something that's already proven its worth. Though I think many new investors come in, they often bounce after a dip, so they aren't true maxis.

Not sure how we know if maxis are growing or not. But if Bitcoin’s dominance stays above 50%, that would be huge. That shows the altcoins are just gettin' whatever's left. Smart money will likely go to Bitcoin since there’s less of it left to mine soon.

Here’s my take on the ratio around me: Maximalists 1%, those who know about Bitcoin/crypto 40%, people clueless about crypto 54%, and doubters 5%. Even in the city, many don’t know much about crypto, just heard of Bitcoin. I think what's growing is not maxis but people learning about crypto, which is good.

In today’s financial talk, we see Maximalists and Anti-Bitcoiners often clash. Maxis think Bitcoin beats fiat for security and decentralization; anti-Bitcoiners think it’s useless. But with more regulations, we see challenges to Bitcoin too.

True, the ratio might change, but let’s not forget the haters. If we count them as naysayers, that skews things. Some folks just hate on Bitcoin without knowing anything about it don’t even invest. What matters is the number of believers and holders, and I think since ETFs came around, that number has definitely gone up.
