Been looking into the MVRV Z-Score for Bitcoin lately. It shows how BTC is priced compared to its realized value. When BTC was at 61K, the score was around 0.25. I'm tempted to wait until it dips into negative before buying in. Anyone else keeping an eye on this metric for finding potential lows?

You're not wrong about it not being in the negative yet. But I wonder if it’s even worth waiting for that. During the last bull run, we never really saw those low scores. What do you think?

+1 on that. I don’t think we’ll get negative scores anytime soon, honestly.

Not sure that’s how it works though. Just cause it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean it won’t. Market dynamics change.

I still remember when the score hit close to 1 during the peak. If it gets below 0, that might be a solid buy signal.

You can find charts on various crypto sites like CoinMetrics or Glassnode. They usually have MVRV Z-Score charts.

Yeah but those can be misleading. Always do your own research before jumping in!

I mean, the MVRV Z-Score is one of the better indicators out there. Just don’t rely on it alone.
